Breathe New Life into Business Life Cycles (...And Catch Your Breath Too!)
This virtual session will help you get ahead of the curve and catch your breath - adapting the right strategies at the right time to take your business to the next level!
Drawing from concepts presented in the book: Startup, Scaleup, Screwup: 42 Tools to Accelerate Lean & Agile Business Growth by Jurgen Appelo, this session will include education, discussion and action planning to help your business run smoothly during the summer months and beyond.
We’ll address the fact that within any company, different business models can be at different stages. Knowing what to do at what stage is key to success. Scaling up too early or not recognizing when it’s time to innovate parts of your business can lead to mistakes or missed opportunities throughout the year.
Understanding your overall business life cycle and the stages within, you will develop a short-term plan that recognizes and responds to:
• Your annual business cycle
• Components of your business in a scale-up phase
• Services that are in an innovation/startup phase
• Applying innovation to areas that need re-invigorating for profitability
This session will be led by our new Dames of Greater Phoenix, Andrea Dunne.
Andrea is a humanitarian, entrepreneur, and executive leader with 30 years of experience leading global health initiatives across Latin America, Asia, Africa, and the U.S. She is thrilled to be back in Arizona, pursuing a PhD in Innovation in Global Development at ASU while growing her business. Andrea is excited to lead the Phoenix chapter and is passionate about creating collaborative, strategic partnerships among like-minded, bold women leaders, and developing targeted solutions to drive growth - both personally and professionally.
